International aircraft leasing company Avolon has delivered its first Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The plane is the first of a number of A320neo sale and leasebacks contracted with IndiGo, a low-cost airline headquartered in India.
It brings the number of aircraft now leased by Avolon to IndiGo to 21.
By the end of March Avolon, which is headquartered in Dublin, had a total fleet of 402 aircraft including 223 owned and managed aircraft; and 179 aircraft on order.
