Irish retailer Avoca is to create 80 jobs through the opening of a new store in Dunboyne, Co Meath.
The move marks the first promised expansion of the company following its c. €60m acquisition by Aramark in December of last year.
€3m is being invested in the new store, which is scheduled to open in the autumn.
It will be situated on a four-acre site with 35,000 sq ft of retail space and parking for 300 cars.
The Avoca brand encompasses cafes, food halls, fashion, and artisan craft products.
Commenting on the new store opening Managing Director at Avoca Simon Pratt said: "This is our 12th store and our largest and most ambitious to date.
“We're investing more than €3 million to create a gorgeous experience for our customers and the fit out will be to the highest standards.
“The location is superb and will attract consumers from West Dublin, Meath, Kildare and beyond, looking to enjoy the Avoca experience."
Founded in the 1970s, Avoca has 11 outlets across the island of Ireland and employs 850 people.
