NAMA gets three bids for Dundrum Town centre porfolio

NAMA is said to have received binding bids last night from the reduced three finalists for the €2.4 billion Project Jewel loan portfolio, which includes the Dundrum Town Centre.

According to a report on the UK CoStar News website, the original five finalists has been reduced to three after Davidson Kempner pulled out and Allianz Real Estate and UK REIT Hammerson teamed up for a joint bid.

Allianz and Hammerson are bidding together against a joint bid by Hines and Kuwait Investment Authority, and Colony Capital, CoStar news said.

As well as Dundrum Town Centre, the portfolio includes land near the shopping centre, a 50% stake in the Pavilions shopping centre in Swords in North County Dublin and a 50% stake in the Ilac shopping centre in Dublin city centre.

Co-Star said that NAMA will select a preferred bidder imminently.
