More than 8,790 days were lost to industrial disputes between April and June, according to the Central Statistics Office, up slightly on the same period of 2014.
Three disputes - involving a total of 10,100 workers - made up the total figure, with the transportation sector accounting for the majority of days lost.
Workers at Dublin Bus staged industrial action in May over plans to put 10% of public bus routes out to private tender.
The CSO estimates that the action involved 4,000 workers, with 5,714 days lost in total
Action by workers at Dunnes Stores over rosters, which took place in April, accounted for most of the remaining days lost.
The CSO said that 6,000 workers were involved in this dispute, though the number of days lost was lower at 2,678.
