Permanent TSB’s chief financial officer Glen Lucken is to leave his role later this year, the bank has announced.

Mr Lucken is stepping down from the position in order to return to Britain for family reasons, “and to pursue other interests closer to home”.

The bank said it will begin searching for his replacement immediately and would make a further announcement once this had concluded.

In a statement, PTSB’s CEO Jeremy Masding said Mr Lucken played “a leading role in the successful transformation of the group” and he thanked him for his “enormous contribution” to the bank.

Separately, PTSB has announced that its head of legal, Andrew Walsh, will now become group legal counsel which includes a role on its executive committee.
