Mark Little has announced he is leaving Dublin media company Storyful, which he established more than five years ago.
Announcing the move in a blog post on the company’s website, the former RTÉ journalist said it was “not an easy decision but it’s a good one”, and one that he had made himself.
Storyful was acquired by NewsCorp in late 2013 for €18m, with Mr Little stepping down as CEO a year later to become director of editorial innovation.
He was succeeded by Rahul Chopra, who Mr Little described today as having “all the right skills to guide Storyful to a glorious second act”.
In his announcement Mr Little thanked his colleagues and investors and said he was proud to have helped build the team that he leaves behind at the company.
