ESB International has secured separate contracts in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, worth a combined €29.5m.
The Saudi Arabia deal, worth €17m, will see the company project-manage the construction of a gas-fired power plant over four years.
It will involve 40 ESB International staff, with 15 engineers from Saudi Arabia also due to travel to Ireland for training.
Meanwhile the company will also design and supervise the development of 21 high-voltage substations and underground cabling in Bahrain, as part of a €12.5m deal there.
The development is required to provide energy to new government housing being built in the country.
ESB International, which is marking its 40th anniversary this year, says it has now signed contracts worth €50m in the past twelve months alone.
