Waste management company Greenstar has appointed Mark Burrows Smith as its new CEO.
Mr Burrows Smith most recently worked as chief operating officer of British waste firm Viridor and will take up the role next month.
He replaces Mark Keough, who will remain as deputy chairman of the company while also working on other projects for its parent Cerberus Capital.
Greenstar was acquired by Ceberus in early 2013 having entered receivership the previous year.
It emerged from that process in March 2014 and it went on to acquire regional operator Wastepal to increase its market share.
