Irish companies have agreed deals worth almost €30m during a trade mission to Poland and the Czech Republic, according to Enterprise Ireland.

The mission, led by Minister for State Ged Nash, involved 42 companies and focused on a number of areas including agribusiness, engineering and medical devices.

Electronics manufacturer RealTime Technologies agreed deals with LG Electronics CZ and the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic; while hotel reservation software firm BookAssist struck agreements with AGC Group and Hotel Paris in Prague.

Enterprise Ireland said that the objective of the mission was to build on existing economic links with Poland and the Czech Republic.
