NTMA sells €500m of six month Treasury Bills at a negative yield

The National Treasury Management Agency has sold €500m worth of six month Treasury Bills at a negative yield.

The bills were sold with an annualised yield of -0.03% - an improvement on the -0.01% rate secured in a similar sale in March.

The NTMA said it received bids worth more than €1.7bn – which amounts to 3.4 times the amount of debt on offer.
