Green REIT’s current agreements will see it earn €55m per year from rent, according to an interim management statement from the property company.
The firm, which currently owns 24 properties including a number on Dublin’s docklands, said €1.12m of this was agreed since the start of the year with a further €700,000 in rent due to be added once a number of contract negotiations are completed.
Green REIT said its portfolio – which includes 24 properties, mainly in Dublin – was valued at €882m at the end of last year.
It said it was also in exclusive negotiations to buy a property on Albert Quay in Cork city, which would be its first property in the county if acquired.
The company said it had agreed to lease 2,400 sq m of offices at Central Park in Dublin’s Leopardstown to online booking firm Web Reservations International for 20 years.
It has also begun construction on a new block at the development, while a number of other floors remain vacant.
Green REIT also said it was making progress on planned works at offices on Dublin’s Dawson St, Molesworth St and Harcourt St and would give a further update at its annual results in late June.
