Household net worth rose to €600.8 billion during the last three months of 2014, according to figures from the Central Bank.
In per capita terms, that equates to €130,331 per person.
This represented an increase of 4.3% over the three month period.
Household net worth now stands at its highest level since the final three months of 2008.
Household debt continued to decline during the quarter, falling to €157 billion, or €34,069 per person.
This represented a decline of 1.6% over the quarter.
Overall debt has fallen by just short of 23% since its peak in the third quarter of 2008.
Debt as a proportion of disposable income declined by 3.7%, falling to 170.1%.
This was its lowest level since the final three months of 2005.
