Zamano, which provides mobile messaging, advertising and payments services, said today it is now an approved direct carrier billing partner with mobile phone company Three Ireland.
The company said it has successfully connected to Three Ireland for direct operator and carrier billing.
This connection covers all of Three's customers including those obtained during the recent acquisition of O2.
Three represents about 36% of the mobile market in Ireland.
"Getting direct connections to Mobile Networks Operators' carrier billing systems is a key objective for the group and becoming an approved direct carrier billing partner with Three Ireland has taken the group a step closer to this goal," commented the company's CEO Ross Conlon.
