Ballymaloe Relish has secured a deal to list its range across 900 Tesco shops in the UK.
The family owned business is forecasting sales of €0.5m between now and the end of the year as a result of the Tesco deal.
Ballymaloe Relish is owned by Yasmin Hyde, daughter of the legendary Myrtle Allen and based on Myrtle Allen's original recipes from the 1930s.
Ballymaloe Country Relish is one of the 50 Irish food and drink companies that participated in the Tesco supplier development programme with Bord Bia.
This year marks the fourth year of this retail programme that aims to help food and drink companies achieve sustainable growth at multiple retail levels.
Some of the other well-known Irish brands that have participated in this programme and now export to Tesco UK stores include Lily O’Briens, Keoghs Crisps and Glenilen among others.
