Retailer SuperValu says it recorded €2.58 billion in sales in 2014.
Martin Kelleher, managing director of the supermarket chain, said SuperValu was "satisfied" with its current trading performance "having finished the year well with a good Christmas trading period".
In a statement the retailer said it now has a 24.9% of the grocery market by volume of sales and serves 2.6 million customers each week.
SuperValu has grown significantly over the past 12 months following the addition of 24 former Superquinn shops. It will open four new outlets in 2015 at a cost of €18m.
