UPC lost 14,000 customers over the past year but is still growing the number of internet, telephone and TV subscriptions it is selling in Ireland.
The cable company had 519,000 customers at the end of 2014, according to results published by its parent company Liberty Global, down from 533,000 a year earlier.
UPC lost just over 24,000 television subscriptions during the year but added over 50,000 telephone subscriptions and 25,100 internet subscriptions over that period.
UPC's experience mirrors that of many of its peers which have been hit by falling numbers of pay-TV customers as many drop their cable television subscriptions and opt, instead, to use internet-based services such as Netflix.
Magnus Ternsjö, UPC Ireland chief executive, said he was pleased with the results and described 2014 as "another satisfactory year".
He said UPC would launch an improved on-demand video service in 2015 and will launch its mobile service in the coming year to offer customers "quad play" - meaning TV, internet, telephone and mobile services from the same provider.
