FBD Holdings has said that former Central Bank director Fiona Muldoon is to join the company.
Ms Muldoon will take on the role of Group Finance Director at the insurance company, succeeding Cathan O'Caoimh who is retiring.
A Chartered Accountant, Ms Muldoon was Director of Credit Institutions and Insurance Supervision at the Central Bank from 2011 to May 2014.
Commenting on the appointment, FCD Chairman Michael Berkery said that Ms Muldoon is "a dynamic individual with tremendous experience at a leadership level in the general insurance industry".
Mr O'Caoimh will remain on the FBD Board and will lead a number of strategic projects, including the implementation of a new policy administration system in the Group's underwriting subsidiary.
