The Central Bank has warned consumers about an investment firm operating illegally in the country.
The regulator has said that Vantage Holdings Group Limited (Hong Kong) was not authorised to operate as an investment firm, nor was it permitted to provide investment advice in the country.
Doing so without adequate approval was a criminal offence, according to the Central Bank, while consumers who engaged its services would not be eligible for compensation should any issues arise.
The Central Bank issues regular warnings about unauthorised firms operating in the country and maintains a list on its website.
It advised anyone with information relating to Vantage Holdings Group Ltd to contact them with details.
