Paddy Power has appointed Gary McGann as an independent non-executive director of the company and as a member of the Audit Committee.
Mr McGann is chief executive of Smurfit Kappa Group since 2002. He joined the group in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer.
He is also chairman of Aon Ireland and is a non-executive director of Green REIT.
"We are very pleased that Gary is joining us as a non-executive director. The depth of skills and experience he has acquired leading large international businesses will be of considerable value as Paddy Power continues to develop and grow," commented Paddy Power's chairman Nigel Northridge.
