UPC Ireland added 13,600 subscriptions for its TV, broadband and phone services during the three months to the end of September.
It lost 1,800 customers during the period though, suggesting that while its existing user base is signing up for extra services - for example adding broadband to a TV subscription - overall fewer people and businesses are using UPC than a year ago.
UPC now has 522,100 "customer relationships", down from 534,700 this time last year.
