Engineering and project management firm PM Group saw pre-tax profits rise by 20% last year to €9.7m, as markets began to show signs of recovery.
The Dublin-headquartered firm had a turnover of €355.5m last year, as construction revenues increased.
Operating profits were 26% higher compared to 2012, on the back of €110m in new work orders during last year.
More than half of the firm’s revenues came from out of Ireland during 2013, according to chairman Dan Flinter, thanks to a focus on projects for the pharmaceutical, med-tech and data centre industries.
PM Group’s CEO Dave Murphy said the momentum of 2013 has carried through to this year, with project activity up in the year to date.
The company employs over 2,000 people worldwide, and has offices across Europe, the United States and Asia.
