Aer Lingus names new CFO and HR chief

Aer Lingus has announced that Bernard Bot, previously at TNT Express in the Netherlands, will succeed Andrew Macfarlane in the role of chief financial officer in September. 

A Dutch national, Mr Bot will also be nominated to the airline's board of directors. 

The airline also said today that it has appointed Federico Balzola as its chief people and change officer. 

The Italian national most recently worked at Reckitt Benckiser, where he was responsible for the HR operations in the company's operations in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Romania and the Balkans.
