Kenmare Resources has said its chairman Justin Loasby is to retire from the company's board due to ill health.
The company said that Steven McTiernan, a non-executive director of Kenmare, will take on the role of non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Mr McTiernan has over 40 years of diverse natural resources industry and investment banking experience including BP. Tullow Oil and Chase Manhattan Bank.
