Aryzta has recorded a 16.5% increase in revenue in the three months to the end of April.

The international baked goods group had revenues of €1.37bn in its third trading quarter, with strong growth in its European and North American operations.

Those two markets combined represented almost 60% of the company’s sales during the period, with revenue from its majority shareholding in Origin Enterprises making up most of the remainder.

The quarterly figure puts Aryzta’s revenue for the nine months to April at €3.47bn, 7.1% higher than the same period of last year.

During that time European sales were 18.6% higher, while North American revenue had risen by 2.9%

Aryzta operates a number of bakery brands, including Cuisine De France and Hiestand.
