Aircoach has announced a €3 million investment in ten new coaches, which will enter service from today.
The private bus operator – which is owned by FirstGroup – said the new coaches will operate on the daily service running between Cork, Dublin city and Dublin Airport.
The company said passenger volumes on the route have continued to grow, with 36 departures now running every day.
The new coaches are a Volvo B11R chassis with a Plaxton Panther 3 body and feature wheelchair access, on board toilets and device charging points on each seat.
