Irish family owned Pamela Scott is to open its 26th store tomorrow, creating 12 new jobs.

The new store on Henry Street in Dublin city centre will be the fourth new store opened by the Irish fashion retailer since it successfully exited the examinership process earlier this year.

New shops have also been opened in Mullingar, Waterford and Athlone earlier this year.

Flairline is the parent company who owns and runs Pamela Scott in Ireland, and it also owns the Richard Alan, Lisa Perkins and Ashley Reeves.

The group is owned and run by the Barron family and it employs about 300 people around the country.

"Despite difficult trading conditions in the retail sector Pamela Scott continues to grow. The secret to our success is that we have focused on diversification over the past few years while keeping an eye at all times on the bottom line," said owner and director Scott Barron.
