Former billionaire developer Bernard McNamara is to discharge bankruptcy proceedings in Britain tomorrow.

Mr McNamara’s bankruptcy will be automatically discharged on 2 November, according to documents from the country’s Individual Insolvency Register.

The developer had debts as high as €2.7 billion during the property boom, much of which is now held by the National Asset Management Agency.

Mr McNamara’s insolvency practitioner, Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon, declined to comment on the case.
