Ryanair carried more than eight million passengers in October, according to the airline, a 6% rise on the same month of last year.
In the year to October 2013 the airline carried 80.9 million passengers, a 2% increase on previous figures.
Ryanair said its load factor rose 1% to 83% during the month, bring the year-to-date figure to 82%.
The no-frills airline has announced a number of new routes serving Shannon Airport and Ireland West Airport, Knock in the past week.
It said the new routes were a direct result of the Government’s decision to reduce the air travel tax to zero in Budget 2014.
Ryanair has said it is in discussions with other airports in the country with a view to making further route announcements in the coming weeks.
