Dublin-based payments company Payzone has sold a subsidiary which operates cash machines in the UK and Germany for €125m.
Cardpoint Services, which trades as Cashzone in the UK, operates 7,100 machines there and a further 800 ATMs in Germany.
Payzone has sold the company to the ATM services firm Cardtronics, a Nasdaq-listed company based in Houston, Texas.
Payzone said the proceeds from the sale would be used to pay down debt and shareholder loans.
