Annual manufacturing prices rose 0.4% in the year to June 2013, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
This is compared to the 1.9% increase recorded in the year to May and comes as a result of a 1.2% decrease in monthly prices last month.
Dairy prices saw the most significant rise in June, up 3.1%, while fish products were up 2.8%.
However this was offset by a 2.3% fall in computer and electronic prices, along with a 1.5% drop in pharmaceutical prices.
On an annual basis, dairy product prices have risen 11.8% while meat product prices are up 4.4%.
Meanwhile chemical product prices are down 4.7%, while prices for other food products, including bread and confectionary, are 3.2% lower.
