The board of Donegal Creameries has secured approval of the Registrar of Companies in Ireland to change its name to Donegal Investment Group plc.
In a statement, the company said the move follows the passing a resolution relating to the name change which was proposed to shareholders at the company's EGM earlier this month.
The change of name will become effective for trading on the ESM of the Irish Stock Exchange from today.
''All other details including the company's website and ISIN number remain unchanged. Shareholders are unaffected by the name change,'' the company added.
