Cost Plus Sofas has said it will close a number of its Irish stores as it restructures its business.
In a statement on its website the company said the changes will lead to "many" of its 23 Irish outlets being closed down.
It has several stores in Dublin and nationwide, including Mullingar, Drogheda, Newbridge and Athlone.
The firm said that all current outstanding orders, contracts and agreements will be honoured, completed and delivered as agreed.
It is not yet clear how many jobs are likely to be lost as a result of the closures.
