The National Treasury Management Agency has sold €500 million of Irish Treasury Bills at auction.

The bills, which have a three month maturity, were auctioned at an annual interest rate of 0.24%.

The NTMA said it received bids amounting to over €1.7 billion in relation to the bills, which is more than three times the amount on offer.
