Over 130 new jobs have been announced for Dublin by two separate companies.
75 jobs are being created in Blanchardstown by Guidewire Software, a global provider of software solutions to the insurance industry.
The Silicon Valley-based company already employs 50 people at its global services and regional development centre in Dublin having set up there just over a year and a half ago.
The new jobs are in software development and software product management and consultancy.
Meanwhile, a cement company based at Dublin Port has said it hopes to create 61 jobs in a €19m investment at a new plant at the port.
Ecocem Ireland said that 25 jobs will be created at the plant and another 36 indirect jobs in other, directly-associated and Irish-based suppliers.
The new plant will be used to bag the company's eco-friendly cement, which among other things reduces the carbon footprint of traditional cement by over 50%.
