Digital advertising company Quantcast is setting up its Europe, Middle East and Africa Operations Centre in Dublin.

This will create 100 new jobs over two years.

The investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

Quantcast Chief Executive Konrad Feldman said: "Dublin offers the rare mix of a vibrant local technology business scene, an exceptional talent pool and easy accessibility to Europe's major markets, all instrumental in our decision to locate here,''

"Quantcast’s presence here will bolster Ireland’s reputation as the 'Internet Capital of Europe'," said IDA Chief Executive Barry O’Leary.

Mr O'Leary noted that the company is one of the top five "big data" processing organisations in the world, offering customers a pioneering and targeted audience advertising solution.
