Up to 110 new jobs have been announced at various locations around the country.

78 new jobs are to be provided at Tayto Park and Largo Foods in Ashbourne, Co Meath. The posts will bring the total number of employees at Largo to 798.

Largo has spent €15m developing Tayto Park, which has received 750,000 visitors since it opened four years ago. The company plans to spend another €2.1m on the facility this year.

Largo Foods has annual turnover of over €100m from its crisp factories in Ashbourne, Gweedorel and Yorkshire.

Over €3m was invested in the manufacturing facilities in the last year with another €3m expected to be spent this year.

Elsewhere, 10 new jobs have been announced at Windsor Motor's Kia dealership in Liffey Valley in Dublin.

Windsor already employs over 300 people in its 13 dealerships around the country.

And child exercise company PlayFit has announced that it is to create 10 full and part time new jobs in an expansion of its services.

PlayFit provides multi-sport and activity play classes for three to eight-year-olds.

The jobs are mainly in the area of exercise physiology.

Meanwhile, Fleetmatics - a company that provides fleet management solutions for businesses - is to recruit an additional 10 or more software engineers.

Fleetmatics currently employs fifty personnel at its Cookstown facility in Dublin.

The company's global HQ was opened by the Taoiseach today.
