Key Europe award for Dublin based Reynolds Logistics

Dublin family run company, Reynolds Logistics, has been named European Transport Company of the year for 2012.

The company was set up 80 years ago, employs 260 people and has an annual turnover of €35m.

It has two main operating bases in Dublin and in Ellesmere Port in the UK.

It was among six companies from across Europe that were shortlisted for the award.

The announcement was made on the same week that the company secured a €50m contract with Topaz Energy.

''It’s the biggest logistics contract won by an Irish company in many years and proves that we can compete with some of the top names in the business and additional trucks, tankers and staff will be taken-on as a result'' stated Andrew Reynolds, chief executive of Reynolds Logistics.
