Dealz to create 300 jobs nationwide in €3m investment

Up to 300 new jobs are to be created by discount retailer Dealz around the country.

The company, which is celebrating its first anniversay of trading in Ireland, is planning to open ten new stores by the end of next year in an investment worth almost €3m.

Since launching in Ireland in September 2011, Dealz has opened 20 shops, creating almost 600 Irish jobs.

The company is also set to open additional shops by the end of its financial year in March 2013, including in Dun Laoghaire and Clonmel.

Dealz shops are located in Blanchardstown in Dublin, Portlaoise, Letterkenny, Killarney, Newbridge, Limerick, Cork, Athlone, Santry in Dublin, Mullingar, Gorey, Drogheda, Shannon, Tallaght, Naas, Carlow, Gorey, Lisduggan, Dundrum in Dublin and Midleton.
