Vodafone has announced the acquisition of telecommunications service provider, Complete Telecom.
Complete Telecom, a wholly owned Irish business based in Dublin, provides enterprise managed data network and fixed telecoms services.
It employs 23 people and will continue to operate as a standalone entity for an initial period after which it will transfer to the new Enterprise Customer Solutions unit within Vodafone Ireland.
Vodafone says the acquisition will enable it to offer a wider range of services to business customers, including the public sector.
Vodafone began offering enterprise managed data network solutions following its acquisition of Interfusion last year where it has since experienced a 30% increase in revenues.
The company now expects to double its revenue in this area with the acquisition of Complete Telecom and will establish a new dedicated enterprise solutions unit to deliver its expanded portfolio to business customers nationwide.
