Online gambling exchange Betfair said today its chief financial officer Stephen Morana would leave the company after having served as interim chief executive for several months.
Breon Corcoran took over as chief executive last month as planned. He was previously chief operating officer at bookmaker Paddy Power.
Mr Morana said he would step down once his successor had been identified.
The online bet-matching company, set up 12 years ago, said core revenues rose 13% to £91.6m in the three months to end-July, helped by the Euro 2012 soccer tournament.
However, the company signalled a slowdown in recent weeks.
"A slower start to the football season and reduced interest in other sports during the Olympics resulted in slower revenue growth in August," Mr Morana said in a statement.
"After a strong Q1, this leaves year to date revenues in line with our expectations," he added.
