Travel software provider Datalex has narrowed its losses significantly in the first half of 2012, according to interim results filed by the company.

The company saw revenues grow by 18% during the six month period, while losses declined by 90% to €200,000.

Datalex, which has clients including United Airlines, Air China and Aer Lingus, said new business in key markets like India, China and the Middle East contributed to its improved performance.

The company is also upbeat on the remainder of the year due to new agreements with Delta and Westjet Airlines.

Datalex provides software and solutions to travel companies to help them sell their products to customers across a number of channels. It was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Dublin.
