The Revenue Commissioners have announced that they have appointed Michael Gladney as the new Collector-General.
Prior to his appointment he headed up Revenue's Limerick Tax District & South West Region's Large Enterprise Audit Unit.
He replaces Gerry Harrahill who led Revenue's collection arm for seven years and has recently been assigned as head of Revenue's Corporate Affairs and Customs Division.
A native of Glynn, Co Carlow, Michael Gladney has spent over 18 years in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners. He previously worked in the Valuation Office.
