50 jobs are to be created over the next three years with the expansion of the research and development facility of US headquartered company ResMed in Dublin.
The company's research centre is based at a facility in UCD which assists companies to access UCD's research base.
The new jobs are being backed by IDA Ireland.
ResMed specialises in medical products to combat sleep and respiratory disorders. It focuses on technology using sensors to manage patients with chronic diseases in their homes.
