Production for Manufacturing Industries for June was 3.3% higher than last month according to CSO figures.
Production increased by 10.5% for June 2012 when compared with June of last year.
The seasonally adjusted volume of industrial production for Manufacturing Industries for the three month period April 2012 to June 2012 was 5.1% higher than in the preceding three month period.
The “Modern” Sector, comprising a number of high-technology and chemical sectors, showed a monthly increase in production for June of 1.0% and there was a slight increase of 0.3% in the “Traditional” Sector.
The seasonally adjusted industrial turnover index for Manufacturing Industries increased by 4.5% in June when compared with May.
On an annual basis turnover increased by 5.6% when compared with June 2011.
