Glanbia has announced the acquisition of Aseptic Solutions Inc. (ASI) for €50m.
ASI was founded in 2004 and manufactures nutritional and dietary beverages including vitamins, protein shakes and 100% natural fruit juices.
ASI employs 175 people at its facility in Corona, California. Glanbia say that the acquisition is funded through their existing banking facilities.
The acquisition, Glanbia say, is in line with their nutritional growth strategy and will strengthen Glanbia Nutritional Ingredient Technologies by expanding its end-to-end capability.
