The Irish Aviation Authority has met with the Examiner appointed to the Pilot Training College, Michael McAteer, of Grant Thornton today.
The IAA agreed to outline the requirements in terms of safety regulation to allow for the suspension of the training license to be lifted.
This is in the event of a suitable programme being devised that is safe, adequately funded and subject to High Court approval.
