NAMA says it will not be making in statement in relation to advisor Michael Geoghegan being named in the US Senate Committee report into money laundering at HSBC bank.
The Department of Finance said Michael Geoghegan was appointed as chairman of the NAMA Advisory Group by the Minister because of his extensive experience.
It said it will also not be issuing a statement on the report.
Earlier, AIB said it had no concerns over the naming of its chairman David Hodgkinson in the Senate Report.
A spokeswoman for the bank said that Mr Hodgkinson was not a person of interest in the inquiry and there was nothing for the bank to consider.
