"The use of innovation has provided Tullow with the ability to convert its philosophy of ‘geology over geography’ into exceptional exploration success across its portfolio. Our team in Dublin was instrumental in the Zaedyus discovery, offshore French Guiana last year which has opened up a new and exciting basin for Tullow in South America," said Aidan Heavey, Chief Executive Officer, Tullow.

"The team has also played an important role in other successful campaigns, including our newest operational area, Kenya. Tullow is proud of its origins and the Irish operations remain central to the success of a number of key exploration campaigns and this success is reflected in the ongoing expansion of the Dublin office," added Mr Heavey.

The group has over 1,200 staff employed in 22 countries.
