Seán Quinn denies orchestrating moves to put assets beyond reach of Anglo Irish Bank

Seán Quinn has denied he was the chief orchestrator of alleged steps by his family to put multi-million euro international property assets beyond the reach of the former Anglo Irish Bank.

Mr Quinn also said he "resented greatly" claims by the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation that he had breached court orders of June and July 2011 restraining any steps by his family to strip assets from their international property group.

Mr Quinn was re-examined today by his own lawyers.

The bank is seeking to have Mr Quinn, his nephew Peter Darragh Quinn and son Seán Quinn Jr jailed for contempt of the High Court orders.

All three have denied the bank's claims.

They admit certain measures were taken to put assets beyond Anglo's reach but deny any such steps were taken after the court orders were made.

Mr Quinn's re-examination concluded today and the court has been told the Quinn side will not be conducting any cross-examination of IBRC about affidavits sworn on its behalf.

Ms Justice Dunne has adjourned the case to next Thursday to allow lawyers for both sides file written submissions on legal issues.

The sides will then make oral submissions which are expected to conclude on Friday.

It is expected Ms Justice Dunne will reserve her judgment.
