Irish food company Cully & Sully has been sold to US-based Hain Celestial Group, a natural and organic products company, for an undisclosed sum.
Cully & Sully makes and markets a range of natural chilled soups, savoury pies and hot pots, all under the Cully & Sully brand, with a range of approximately 20 products.
It supplies all the major food retailers in Ireland.
A statement from Hain Celestial said the founding management team of Cullen Allen and Colum O'Sullivan will continue to manage all aspects of Cully & Sully and will report to its CEO Rob Burnett.
"Joining the Hain Daniels Group will provide us with the opportunity to broaden our product offerings into other categories and to expand the Cully & Sully brand into the UK," said Colum O'Sullivan.
"Since the inception of Cully & Sully, we've always been about natural, good tasting and honest food, where quality and traditional cooking techniques are paramount," said Cullen Allen.
